The Japanese Society of Food Microbiology comprises the following members.

Honorary members:
Qualified members with notable achievements in Food Microbiology.
Full members:
Individuals with academic knowledge of Food Microbiology or other relations to the academy. ¥5,000.- (including a quarterly journal "Japanese Journal of Food Microbiology")
Student members:
Students of universities, junior and senior colleges, and comparable schools. ¥2,000.- (including a quarterly journal "Japanese Journal of Food Microbiology")
Sustaining members:
Organizations and institutions, i.e. enterprises, industrial laboratories, universities, public examination centers, research centers, and libraries, supporting our activities. ¥20,000. - (including a quarterly journal "Japanese Journal of Food Microbiology")
Subscriber member:
¥5,000.- (including a quarterly journal " Japanese Journal of Food Microbiology)
To apply for the membership:

Those who wish to apply for the membership, please fill in the application form ( in preparation) and send the completed form to the Society;
